Picturesque 1 - Barrett 50 Cal and Baby Shrek

Salam.

Bismillah.

Ini style baru nak menyampaikan maklumat.. Gambar.. :)

Part 1

Insya ALLAH. Senjata ini = Anti-materiel not anti-personnel.

Besarkan peluru dia?

Jauh tembakan sejauh 1500 meter (4,900 kaki). Impeccable. Ada bi-pod and mono juga.
I just hope one day, I would able to lay my hand on this gorgeous sword of the modern world, place my eye before its lens of various scopes, and pull a trigger - for the cause of Allah. Insya Allah. I'm terrorist? Nay, I'm just confident the war is coming. It is predicted by the Hadith and various person and clans. Even the anti-war and peace-loving scientist, Albert Einstein says so,
I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.
Sad for him. His little equation of E= mc^2 had made big impacts on Nagasaki and Hiroshima. He must be sad of that..

Part 2

Kali pertama aku melihat mereka, aku terganga dan terkejut. Tiada pernah aku nampak sesuatu secomel itu. Sehingga sekarang mereka kekal tercomel di hati..

Inilah dia.. Baby-baby Shrek yang sangat-sangat-sangat comel. Kali pertama nampak, memang terus hati terpaut. Super comel..

Like brother, like brother.

Anak-anak itu anugerah Allah. Usahlah buang mereka.. Jangan buat selagi syariat belum membenarkan.

Doc Childre, Teaching Children to Love
Harmonizing heart and brain through love is what can establish a complete intelligence, a complete self, where a child can look at life and realize there are no dead ends, there are always possibilities. The greatest gift a parent can give a child during all the ups and downs of life is love.

Dengan itu, Wassalam. Have a nice day - and exam!

Soalan maut

Salam.

Biar masa tak boleh catch-up. Ha, kalau masa berhenti bila kelajuan kita sama dengan cahaya, kalau kita linear kan faktor-faktor tersebut, ekstrapolasi memungkinkan kita kembali ke masa lampau kalau lagi laju daripada cahaya. Kan? Best ni..

Tapi, apa je yang boleh jadi? Kan? Hm.. Tak apa, yang lepas itu lepas. Bagi aku, masa lepas membentuk masa kini, masa kini menentukan masa hadapan.

Come on, kita bukan nak jadi pengikut determinism atau Tao pun untuk kita cakap, "Oh..I need to do nothing, it was all predestined." Untuk aku, aku ada Islam.

__________________________________________
I believe each of us has been through this kind of thing. To get abducted from this real world to another kind of world. Or if some of us haven't, at least almost. This feeling, is a test for us in which Allah wants to test us - how do we deal with this feeling? Just as if you have a knife. Or even FaceBook.

And I believe, when we are blessed with this feeling or some of us search for this feeling, we are subjected to a very hard test. When it comes, your ratiocination process goes away, your subjective and objective views of certain things become distorted, and you might as well get sucked out from the real life. It is the time, to apply all what we have learned. You can choose whether to escalate to the next level of wrongness (in Islam, known context and definition) which is to go coupling - having to know your love really well OR you can choose to postpone the wish (which is safer after all considerations are taken) OR you can choose to move on by lifting the seriousness of your feeling to family level. It is safer if we have our future relation to be managed by our family or Naqib.

As for me, if we are daring enough or we cannot contain the feeling - just pass the matter to our Naqib/Naqibah and parents. Just let they settle it. Politely and ethically - safe for both. On the other hand if we choose to have the first choice in which we know it MIGHT lead to problems, we might need to consider another problems. An unseen ones. We called it 'barakah'. The blessings we get for doing what Allah loves. The first choice - we know we will lose this barakah. Logically, as a Muslim, barakah is vital for a relationship to last long because we believe this relationship is based on Allah. We need to have barakah. As the chaos theory describes - the decision we make now is vital for our future. This life isn't simple as we thought. The Butterfly Effect. Thus, in order to be happily married ever after - barakah is what we need. Barakah comes from Redha. Both Allah and indirectly parents.

So, the first one won't be my option. Insya Allah. Next - what do we need to have or to be in order to be blessed a perfectly matching soul mate? Perfect to us is known. No need to elaborate. Perfect doesn't mean she has no mistakes. We are talking in human sense. Perfect isn't human :p

Vile women are for vile men, and vile men for vile women. Good women are for good men, and good men for good women; such are innocent of that which people say: For them is pardon and a bountiful provision.  An-Nuur - 26

Each of us wants a perfect soul mate. In order to be blessed one, we need to be a faithful servant to Allah. By following what Allah says, what our Prophet shows, what the classical views and modern views of the concept, and what good people do. A good relationship does not only generate happiness in this world, but for the here-after also. Such that the power of a blessed relationship.

As for now, all we need to do is being a faithful servant. For if we dream to be a loyal partner, firstly we need and must be loyal and obedient to Allah. By being that, I can assure myself to be a committed partner. So, how can I have a healthy life before marriage?

Woha.. This is my opinion only. Further acceptance of reasons is wholly on your choice.
1. If you don't have any feeling, don't pray for it too early. Pray to Allah to bless it to you when you're ready. Focus yourself to your life, excel and do your best.

2. If you have any feeling, best to keep it.

"Sesiapa yang jatuh cinta, kemudian menyembunyikannya hingga kematian menjemputnya, maka dia adalah seorang mati syahid."
(Riwayat Hakim, Ibn Asakir, al-Dailami)

3. If you can't keep it, too heavy to contain it, use the right channel to express your love. You can choose whether to meet her parents yourself,  or through your parents, trustful messenger, or Naqib.

Ting!..So, well enough to explain. We are in the golden age. If we are to be the Guy, Rock Lee's sensei, we would be screaming the whole day "Youth!!!!!!". Haha.. As for me, it is indeed a test. Waha.. this is what I guess meant by tarbiyah or education.
"Education is what remains after one has forgotten everything he learned in school." Einstein. Haha..
It's time to apply... operibus anteire! Leading the way with deeds!

Promoting nuclear physics

By Michael Banks
If you asked the general public what comes to mind when you say “nuclear physics”, you might hear about “nuclear power” or “atomic bombs”. However, you might not get a reply saying how research into nuclear physics allows us to destroy cancer cells more effectively or improves security and safety by designing better methods to detect dirty bombs or radioactive waste.
Behandlungsplatz.jpg
To help promote the benefits of research into nuclear physics and to shake off some of the old stereotypes the subject has, the Institute of Physics today launched a new report, Nuclear Physics and Technology - Inside the Atom, outlining how basic research into nuclear physics is being used in a variety of applications from medical physics to fusion research.

The report comes at a difficult time for the subject in the UK. Nuclear physicists were up in arms after deep budget cuts to the subject were handed out in late December as the UK’s Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) announced the country would pull out of a number of nuclear physics projects, mostly at laboratories abroad, to help balance its budget for 2011.
Basic research into nuclear physics was firmly in the cross-hairs as the STFC announced the UK would pull out of the AGATA and PANDA experiments at the GSI heavy-ion lab in Darmstadt and also at ALICE at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN. The only experiment in nuclear physics that is still to be funded is NUSTAR at GSI.

Many nuclear physicists have lamented the state of the subject in the UK, which they say is now funded much less than in other countries such as Germany or Japan. Nuclear physicist Guenther Roser from the University of Glasgow called the UK’s spending on nuclear physics “appallingly low” and that “the balance is not right” compared with how much the UK spends on particle physics (mostly in subscriptions to CERN) or astronomy.

John Womersley, director of science programmes at the STFC, who spoke at the launch of the report noted that nuclear physics had been “severely affected” by the cuts but warned that physics as a whole will have to “make better arguments” in terms of its impact on society to get enough funding “just to stay still”.

I caught up with William Gelletly from the University of Surrey, who chaired the launch of the report, to ask him what could be done to reverse the trend of low funding for nuclear physics. He said that the community has to get the message across that nuclear physics underpins a lot of different areas, be it in helping to train nuclear physicists or helping medical physicist use the latest proton therapy machines.”You need nuclear physicists to teach the next batch of nuclear engineers,” says Gelletly. “At Surrey, we train over 100 MSc students in nuclear physics across four different courses, of which about half are UK students.”

So what can be done to reverse the decline? Gelletly says that making the government aware how important nuclear physics is would be a good start. He advises that a review of the subject - undertaken not by nuclear physicists but by “independent” experts - should be set up to show the government how important the subject is to the country.

The applications of nuclear physics were perhaps brought home most effectively by Gelletly’s Surrey colleague Jim Al-Khalili. In a wide-ranging talk on nuclear physics he also told the audience that his wife is currently undergoing a three week course of radiotherapy battling against breast cancer. He said that techniques in proton and carbon therapy - developed by nuclear physicists - have allowed for all the energy of the ion beam to be deposited in a very small area thus not damaging the remaining healthy tissue meaning it is more effective than chemotherapy.

Indeed, with the report mentioning that at least 1 in 6 of the UK population will require radiotherapy at some part of their lives, it is hard to think of a more powerful reason why the UK should do more to fund nuclear physics.

Mini-Reunion

Salam.

Bismillah.

Gembira rasa malam tu. Malam ke-27.

Asalnya nak iftar sekali. Perancangan memang kurang kemas. Yelah, sana-sini exam. Kita pun exam sekali.

Selepas Subuh, Ma'thurat dibacakan..

Hehe..

Just what I know, it's our responsible to invite people around us to Islam. We can't wait. We must do. Who has the knowledge, must also bear the responsibilities to convey it. I hope our mini-reunion were grouped in a group who gets Zilalullah in the Mahsyar, meet and depart lillah. Amin.. :)

Frankly, I feel sad now. I mean, with our tonnes of mistakes and sins, we need the bonus in Ramadhan. Still, if Allah really prolongs this month, our next generation will never appreciate like we do, just like now. When we did good deeds, our deeds doubled to ten or more, and sins just for the sins. That's the bonus, if we still don't realize. So, I guess there's hikmah Allah arranges it like this.

Last, Selamat Hari Raya. Moga momentum Ramadhan dilanjutkan Allah sepanjang tahun. Allahumma Ballighna Ramadhan waghfirlana. Amin :)

Kelik Klate!!!

On the 25th night..

I hope it was the Lailatul Qadr. Still, if it was, I will still maintain my momentum. Who knows if I will be here to celebrate Ramadhan next year. So, better safe than sorry. Better late than never.

That night, after having tazkirah from an ustaz, about how should original Muslims act as reverts - degree of embracing Islam, I went up around 1.20 am to check my brothers. Whether they had slept and wanted to make sure about their sahur. Then I went to the Mahallah Ali to buy my own sahur. I parked my car in front of the mosque around 2.30 am. The night was really peace, chill, and calm. When I parked, I didn't set myself to become careful and had watchful eyes to secure me as I did when I went home late. Got dogs everywhere. Always need to have my bike in first and second gear so I can 'pacak' whenever the night companies came.

Just before I locked my car, a foreigner came and asked me to help him. He came from Saudi and he couldn't find any taxi(of course, it's 2 am brother..), so he asked my help to fetch his wife and send them to their apartment near Terminal Putra. Straight away I invited him into my car(actually it's my dad's..). He seemed a bit uncomfortable, maybe because he afraid that he had caused me trouble. I became more friendly with him. So he could become more comfortable. Then we went to female's mahallah to fetch his wife. He introduced his name, Fauzi and I introduced my name Asif which directly means 'sorry'. As usual, any arabic speaking person would react like this, "Oh Asif.. Ana Aasif jiddan.." =.= We talked about how UIA was Islamized very well and known for it's bi'ah and how the bi'ah slowly went away.

"See.. I told you. How can guys freely walk out and in from female's mahallah..You should have guards, even to see your own wife, strictness should be implemented.." he said. Seriously I didn't know how to react at the moment, my mouth opened wide as if I was inviting a horde of fly into my mouth to sacrifice themselves willingly to be my sahur. I was surprised. Really. I didn't thought it would be like that. Sadness. His wife was doing her Master and must really know UIA as she graduated also from UIA for her degree.

After fetching his wife, the serious conversation started. He started the discussion.
"So, after your A level, what course will you be pursuing?" he asked. "Emm.. Insya ALLAH, in the direction of Physics. I haven't decided yet, whether Pure Physics, Astrophysics, or Nuclear Physics. If there are possibilities for humans to benefit the dark energy and dark matter, Astrophysics would be nice. But now, demand for Nuclear Physics is higher. I mean for our ummah.. So, Insya Allah my tendency is more to the nukey's thing." I said.
"Don't you afraid? - I mean I have been in Australia, Saudi, India and Iran, these kind of people were hunted.." he asked curiously.
"Of course, I was thinking about that too.. But, there should be someone to do this. Of course, I sometimes thought about being like a secret agent or Spiderman where you can never have families, or else someone will hurt them. It's a promise to myself, that I wish to devote my life to Islam and die for it. I am no one to contribute, I even may be a liability to my religion, but I will do my best for it. Even, I will marry if there's a chance. Haha.. in Palestine, the fighters have big families. So, I want to be like that too.. Big families, big benefits.." I answered.
"Ok.. you are naughty son.. do you have someone in your mind?" suddenly.. accompanied with evil laugh..
Then, he shared his experience with Muslim physicists. He talked about India, Iran, Iraq and many more and somehow it motivated me very much.

Before we arrived, he gave me a very good set of advices. I asked where will he celebrate his Eid.
"You mean Hari Raya? In Malaysia of course. I love Malaysia.." he answered.
"Why Malaysia? You know how Islamic activists were followed by SBs everywhere. Even just now we have few SBs in the circle. I can show you one. They followed everyone and wrong step you'll find yourself in prison.." I asked.
"Oh Asif.. you are young and passionate. I like that. I can see it in your eyes. You should be thankful. In another country like Saudi and Australia, I can never find a safe place to really practice Islam. Right now, U.S is urging Saudi's government to modify their national syllabus. Remove Islamic contents. And Saudi's is considering it. How can you consider such requests? You have your national syllabus full with Islamic values. And you have a balanced government. You have groups that are trying to add more and more Islamic policies to the country. If you are practicing Islam like this in another country, you'll be caught. All you need right now are to improve and maintain. Don't be like us. We have failed leaders. Your leaders, some may be corrupted, but some are trying their best. You have tonnes of Islamic NGOs. Even in UIA here got many. This i'tikaf, it's a collaboration, local and international NGOs. It's hard to find this elsewhere. The bi'ah do exist"...until we arrived.

I stayed awake the whole night - hoping it was the night of Lailatul Qadr. Insya ALLAH..

What I learn from him...

1. We should be thankful we live in this country.

2. Too bad, most of Muslims in Malaysia cannot make the best of Perlembagaan which gives us the privilege.

3. Malay used to be synonym with Islam, but now, what Malay did to defend their racial exclusiveness cannot be regarded as Islamic.

4. If we think our country is too bad enough, and make us feel hopeless, do remember there are someone else who loves our country because of the bi'ah here. If we feel hopeless for ourselves, let us help them to embrace this country.

5. To at least maintain the peaceful condition of our country, we need to put our effort as hard as we can, so we can keep at pace between the Islamization of this country and the secularization. We must try hard. We have IFC to reduce the special rights, we have Muslim NGOs to do nonsensical things like SIS, we have non-Muslims NGOs cooperating to pin us down, we have media on their side, we have everything against us. What is left to us is only the Constitution. We don't have enough man power.

6. Let us free ourselves from what people called "Kitaran Bodoh". In the end we die having nothing to contribute to Islam.

Let us be thankful and celebrate this Ramadhan blessed by Allah...  :)
