Phase 2

This is my phase 1 evaluation.

1. Foods and nutrition are the most important elements in weight management program. It's your fuel and your maintenance substance. I must eat with the correct proportions. Carbs - complex low glycemic carbs must be always given the priority. I must make a habit to either eat brown rice, sweet potatoes, or a very very small portion of white rice. For protein, it's not a problem personally except I must avoid eating ayam berkuah or ayam goreng, as it will hinder my weight loss progress. As for fats, I'll just have mine with eggs and tunas. Simple.

2. Never sleep late. Only slot the late night staying up for extremely important cases. Macam kejut orang sahur ke. Sleeping late will increase my appetite for the next day, causing me to eat more than I should. It would also hinder my muscle growth.

3. Exercise consistently. Incorporates weight training and swimming. Both for cardio and muscle growth. Stay away from steroids. Just like the gym owner said, we go to gym to get pumped, so we could get more pump on the bed. Doing steroids would be counterproductive. Erectile dysfunction. What kind of men want a solid body but with an ED?

4. Plan your diet and exercise, always track. Set goals. Last phase, I have my goal, swimathon. I need a new goal as for now. Perhaps for the incoming March? :D

Phase 2.

1. Planning to do Herbalife. I want moneeeyyyy!

2. Continue to lift heavier. This phase aiming to completely do pull ups.

3. Next aim is set to compete at any triathlon event. Just preparing myself for now.

4. Following Shortcut-To-Size, then Arnold's Blueprint. Starting next week. Insya Allah.

5. Aim - down to 75-80 kilograms. Not too small. Just enough to have strong muscular physique. L to XL size. 4 packs perhaps? :D Insya Allah.

Only updating. Right now, after raya, my weight is back to 91 kilos. Naik 5 kilos. I don't really eat sugary foods, or any unhealthy foods, just usual Malaysian foods. Nasi lauk semua. Tup tup naik dah. Kuih raya memang tak sentuh pun.

Doakan. Sekian update untuk physical fitness.

Essential basics.

Basics. Fundamentals. Pillars. Foundations. Roots.

It's the source that expands, flourishes, nourishes, and shines.

Physicists believe this universe is made up of universal fundamentals. Fundamentals that hold true everywhere, in the Milky way or the distant super clusters of galaxies.

Chemists believe that the change is inevitable.Change happens everywhere, that changes inspire life.

Islam has its pillars. Strong simple truth, that builds a world view that is Godly, and at the same time, humanely blessed.

The world today lost their way, because we lose our way to the mastery of the basics. We lost our sense of humanity, religion, science, and courtesy, because we don't master the basics.

Simply put, basics is essential.

Academics
My life, always at the expense of mastering the basics. Even I often fail at it. Worth the risk somehow. When it comes to final examination, while everybody will stay and focus on spotting the final exams, I will withdraw to a silence spot, undisturbed, for days working out the basic formula and equations.

Deriving, understanding, applying. I always do that. Even the urge to the short-cut of spotting finals is often seducing, but I manage to refrain myself. Most of the times, the working out of basics in my academics life would leave me sleepless for nights, sweating my forehead, the disorder of my study desk increases, the caffeine in my body system keeps increasing and often left me fatigued. I will read books that are out of my suggested syllabuses, just in order to understand the functions and derivations of principles in my subjects.

However lame it may sound, this regard to the importance of basics, always lend me a very special position in tackling exam questions. Even the question is twisted severely, I rarely lose my cool during final. My memories of taking finals are always relaxed, deep breath each questions, smile and able to do check my answers.

And up until now, it maybe slow, but it has served me well, Alhamdulillah.

Weight loss and fitness
Often, people want short-cuts to achieve great things. In this world, there may be smart ways, but surely aren't short. Greatness is always paved with hardships and challenges. Great quality and result always comes with great efforts.

It took me months to really understand the basics of weight loss. That's only the theory. Right now, after almost one year since I've started going to gym, I still think that there is so much to learn. The form, the weight, range of reps and sets, arsenal of exercises and its variation, and most importantly, nutrition.

Like weight lifting. Often people are into the trends of lifting way heavy beyond their capabilities, when the real purpose is to provide stimulus for muscle growth, therefore become stronger. They compromise form for weight, therefore instead of going healthy they are basically destroying themselves.

Insya Allah, when the aim is set, basics and fundamentals are mastered, you'll only need discipline to execute your way to success. And for me, the aim for the second phase in January 2015.

Life
Will be entering a new phase of life. Remastering basics of life, self-control, and many more.

To be truthful, just before the Swimathon, I'd imagine myself being not anywhere near from now. Decisions have been made after meticulous process. And insya Allah, I pray so that Allah bless and ease us.

Yesterday, I talked with Imam from Gaza, Imam Jihad. I escorted him. During the supper with AJK masjid, he talked about Qassam operations. Being the engineering student, both of us Imam Jihad and I, the discussion sometimes went deep in engineering terms, that pakcik-pakcik couldn't understand and his translator is having problems understanding too. So I decided to help explaining. And he was excited knowing I am from engineering faculty.

He went out later, hugged me, held my hand and my friend's hand closely, talked about the very dire need of Al-Qassam for engineers, especially electronics, electrical and mechanical. We talked long and lastly before we departed, I asked him and said "I want to be one of the martyrs. So, please pray for me, that Allah grant me martyr's death. That I die for Allah.."

He answered, why ask to die for Allah when we could ask Allah to live for Allah? Everyone dies, but not everybody truly lives. (He sounded like Razor somehow). He explained by what he meant. That if you live for Allah, surely by Allah's mercy you will die for Allah. No doubt. So, don't aim to die for Allah. Aim to live for Allah, you'll get both.

He gave me the advice and I felt like, Subhanallah..like something is filling the void in my heart. I felt very calm, thankful and tears almost escape my eyes. I never thought about what he said at all before this. Seeing me emotional, he hugged me, and kissed my forehead deeply. And his age is the same as me. May Allah bless him.

He never told us how he related with al Qassam, but he sure knows a lot. When we asked about it, he said, not all questions can be answered. But seeing how close he was with Mas'ul for HAMAS in Malaysia, hmm.. I think he is deeply involved. 'Ala kulli hal, it was a very good advice.

I also met a lot of people, to ask for tips on cruising the next phase of life. Asking for what is fundamentals, that people often miss and overlook, neglecting, yet it plays the influential factors in life. I got many. I hope to apply them soon ^.^

So....

What's the basic of life then?

ALLAH.

Love Him, and all is well.

Moga Allah permudahkan segala urusan kita.

Cinta di mana?

Sebelum cuti bermula, kami meluangkan masa bersama seorang ustaz yang sangat dihormati di Penang. Seorang lulusan Yaman, dia banyak membuka minda kami mengenai dunia.

Pergi makan sana sini (I was forced to declare that day my cheat day).

Moga ukhuwwah terus mengikat..

2. Keluarga

Lupa. Mereka lupa. Marhalah kedua selepas individu muslim adalah keluarga muslim.

Kenapa bersusah membina individu muslim kemudian membiarkan keluarga muslim begitu?

Nasihat ustaz, be romantic. Bawa pasangan pergi dating, jalan-jalan, bagi hadiah. Keep it alive.

The option is not mutually exclusive. It's not either family or dakwah. It is both and that's life. It's about how you manage.

3. Akhlaq

Wallahu a'lam, sekadar catatan dan perkongsian.

Open water competition. Track 6.5 kilometers crossing the sea from Pulau Kapas to Marang. Doakan saya selamat sampai :) Nanti saya post di sini pengalaman sepanjang renang across the sea. Tak sabar nak tengok Nemo berenang-renang di bawah kaki. Harap tak ada ikan jos.

Prep phase mark!

Today, for the first time, I vomited. Today was leg day. During my squat session, a stranger came and asked for sharing the squat rack I'm using with him. I agreed. And he was kind enough to spot me during my turn. Spotter is a person who will spot and support you if somehow you fail to lift the weight or in dangerous position. Spotter can be anyone who knows how to perform an exercise correctly.

For sure, I've never had any gym partner before this with me. I was and am a loner, which means I'd like to get things done by myself. But it's not that I'm ignorant of teamwork dynamics. It's just, I opt to be alone. I know when to ask for help and advice. Somehow, being with him(the stranger) today made me want to push myself harder.

I asked him to load another weight plates to the bar. I really pushed myself today, and during the session, I kept imagining how failed I had become in terms of control and lifestyle, that had led to an unhealthy lifestyle and physical. Although I was doing better than I was, the picture of my failure kept fueling me to push harder, to the extent I was disgusted by my past failures. Adding to it was the severe setback of heavy squat, known as the king of exercise. I felt so disgusted, remorseful, and regret at that time. I don't know why I'd get so emotional, apart from the fact that I fueled myself to push my limit.

Two minutes later, I rushed to the toilet, vomited, and felt so much relief! It was totally relieving! It was a psychological pleasure. Have you ever felt the relief after Subh during Ramadhan after you spend the whole night crying? Same, different aspect.

And I learned a lot from that stranger, an old timer, who gave me a lot of advice doing proper forms of leg exercises. Thanks.

There we go. Last week of the prep phase. I am now doing a 12 week strength program by B.U.F.F Dudes. It's an online program. Now week three. Just want to see how significant will I improve after finishing the 12 week programs.

Health Testimony #1

Today marks 4 months since I disembarked upon a health initiative. The initiative initially resulted from frustration, because of something. Being a physics enthusiast, I knew that negative energy must be fueled somewhere else. The frustration was insurmountable it needed to be channeled. Of course, redha was at heart, but the frustration took time to dissipate.

After the painful realization, I took two weeks to research and plan what I would do.
This is deadlift.

To put simply, here are three things that I have planned in terms of physical health.

1. Eat healthy and natural. Dismiss unnecessary calories. I have friends that use products, but I was the kind of man that wants something fundamental and basic. 'What if one day I don't have the product? Can I stay fit?' kind of thinking. I have nothing against weight loss products. I respect science and its applications. It is just not for me. I try applying close to Paleo Diet, but not perfectly.

For me, our Prophet sunnah was perfect. Makan bila lapar, berhenti sebelum kenyang. That's how bodybuilders eat. When they got hungry, they eat. They regard food as fuel, only. Not to satisfy lust.

2. Exercise, systematically. I got myself a gym membership and swimming membership, very cheap considering the return it would give me. Since then, I have made a few progress that even myself could not believe. I aim for compound exercise. Which will increase my core and overall strength. Examples of compund movement - squats, deadlifts, clean and jerk, power snatch.

* I am able to swim freestyle for 2 kilometers in 45 minutes 27 seconds, non-stop.
* I am able to butterfly stroke for 100 meters.
* Now I teach my fellow friends how to swim.
* I am able to squat 60 kilos, deadlift 50 kilos, leg press 120 kilos. Also I am able to do push ups for 50 times, and feels like I'm just warming up.
* I am able to jog faster. I am able to do half dead hang pull ups.
* My max weight was 120 kilos. Now I am 88 kilos. :)

3. Healthy lifestyle. Sleep early. No stress. Managing my time. Be beneficial to others. Educate others about health.

I want to prove that I can be fit, not only slim, but fit and strong without using any weight products. And I will be. I can be.

Being realistic, I set my next deadline is at June 2004.

I will enter Marang-Pulau Kapas International Swimathon this April. 6.5 kilometers swim across the ocean. Pray for me yah! :)

Moga Allah permudahkan. Moga keadaan menjadi lebih baik.

Thanks, Pakcik!

On Sunday, I usually don't do any heavy lifting. It is because my leg day is on Friday, so my legs will sore for the next two days. And to do any running or compound exercise is strictly limited. Therefore the only possible choice left is to go swimming.

FYI, leg day is the day where you work out your leg at the gym or anywhere. Leg day may comprise of heavy squat, Romanian dead lift, lounges, leg press, and leg extension. Usually, if you do right and you push yourself, you will be almost unable to walk the day after. Pain everywhere throughout your leg. It is one of the hardest days, and for that reason many people skip leg day.

Today, I went to swim early. After Subuh I made my breakfast, finished up all my chores, and prepared my swimming accessories. Sharp on 9, I went to the pool. Usually, on Sunday, I will swim in the morning and evening. Two sessions. Because swimming is a form of recovery exercise, I need to hit all my muscles before I am ready to work them out the next week.

However, today is my unusual day. After I did my warmup, I went straight into the pool. There was a pakcik beside me. He was overweight, perhaps obese. I guess he just made up his mind to live healthily because I could see the determination on his face. I was just like him 6 months ago. Exactly. He was just beside me. I did not talk or anything, I just smiled to him and started my swim. My routine is I will swim at least one kilometer easy swim before I decided to do sprint swim or practice my backstroke and butterfly.

When I started my breast stroke, I noticed he was beside me doing freestyle. In my mind, I thought "Takpelah, nanti pakcik ni letih lepas dua tiga lap berhenti lah tu..". His swimming actually interrupted my swim a little bit. He was zigzagging between my lane and his lane. I was not sure why, in my mind perhaps because his eyes were not very good although he was wearing a pair of goggles. Or because he could not really balance. So, I just let him be.

To my surprise, after 500(5 laps) meters, he did not stop. He did not pause. I was alternating my breast stroke and freestyle, therefore he would always catch me up because breast stroke is slower than freestyle. We kept catching up to each other. We both did not stop along the way. Up until one kilometer the pakcik was still swimming gracefully. And he was still zigzagging! I needed to do my sight every few strokes and then.

At last, that pakcik stopped at my 1.5 kilometers mark. I did not know how much that pakcik covered. I finished the non-stop swim to 2 kilometers. After the swim, I went to meet the pakcik.

"Kuat pakcik, tak sangka lama betul pakcik tahan.." I said, and laughed. I was really astonished.

"Anak pun kuat juga, pakcik nak cuba lawan, tapi tak boleh..." he replied.

And after that, my guess was right. He was having his health resolution in action. He wanted to live healthily. And I've got great advice about taking care of my body from the pakcik. 'Badan ini amanah Allah!'.

Thank you pakcik! His smile was a remedy for my sore eyes (you know what people wear at public pool).

And Alhamdulillah, new record. 2 kilometers non-stop! :D Alhamdulillah.

Update & Nikah Abu Bakr

Semalam bersama naqib masa sekolah menengah dahulu, Abg Sarep ke walimah junior kami yang berumur 19 tahun, Abu Bakr Abdullah. Anak pakcik Nicholas Sylvester.

Bahagia tengok junior dah bernikah. Alhamdulillah, baik. Mudah dan murah.

Masa kami nak pulang, jumpa ramai ikhwah-ikhwah senior. Presiden Pertubuhan IKRAM Malaysia pun datang, Dr Parid. Bersalam dan berbual sikit sahaja sebab dia pun sibuk. Abang Sarep lah yang seronok nak jumpa salam semua. Pakcik Syed Ibrahim ada, Dr Hatta ada, ramai sungguh. Sebelum nak balik, pakcik Nicholas tepuk belakang aku masa aku ucap tahniah pada dia. Seronok tengok muka dia seorang anak dah kahwin.

Abu, Khadijah, makcik dan pakcik :) Makcik dan pakcik ni sangat baik orangnya. Dua-dua sepadan. Pakcik Nicholas dan isterinya.

Baju pengantin lelaki memang kena gelak dengan abang Sarep sebab macam uniform Jepun. Still, to me it looks good.

Abu dan Abang Sarep [Kredit to Amir Mohsein atas gambar-gambar]

Aku terus sambung soalan aku, aku bukan puasa fizikal sahaja, tapi pancaindera sekali. Tapi kenapa masih kuat dan mengganggu?

Jawapan dia sampai sekarang aku ingat. Walaupun kecil. Walaupun ianya hanya lintasan hati.

Allahu Akbar.

Masa dalam kereta on the way balik ke rumah (Yes, he picked me up, and he sent me home. I refused, he insisted), banyak dapat mutiara berharga daripada Abang Sarep.

Sampai rumah aku pahat azam baru. Masa kosong membunuh pemuda seperti aku. Meliarkan angan-angan kosong. Melemahkan jiwa. Tiadalah aku nak melemahkan diri masa cuti setelah aku berdisiplin hempas pulas masa di kampus. No way. Hidup Allah dah stabilkan, jangan kita kucar kacirkan. Emotion and lust are tools. Tapi fikir balik, to what ends am I gonna sit and wait for opportunity to come?

Kalau banyak. First ringkasan buat pasal Hadith pertama, hadith niat. Last sekali rasa bersalah gila nak ambil upah. -.-

I just love teaching. But now, there's no one to teach. SPM dah hampir. Nak pohon kerja. Dia tanya, sebelum ini masa cuti buat apa? Aku jawab mengajar. Subjek Add Math, Biology, Physics as tuition dan mengajar Al Quran di dua buah masjid. Dia membalas, "Oh..Cikgu. Tak payah kerjalah. Cikgu sekarang banyak duit. Sangat banyak". Itu fakta yang baru aku tahu. Aku kemudian gelak besar, menafikan. Aku bukan seorang cikgu dalam kerjaya.

Lusa insyaAllah akan ke seminar finance. Di Hotel Boulevard. Baca The Star dengan kawan, jumpa seminar. Terus daftar.

Dah target nak habiskan dua buku tebal.

Masuk team RnD Robotic UiTM. Will be busy. Busynya sampai masuk keluar lab sampai pukul 2 pagi. Let's give it a try. Dah dijemput masuk, tak moleklah kalau menolak. Jadi, masa cuti ada pembacaan sikit-sikit.

Itulah rancangan setakat masa cuti.

Tapi melayan lah. Dia adik kecil yang aku sayang.

Ada elemen comel terbaru - Meelo. Cucu Avatar Aang, dalam Legend of Korra.

Dia fartbending, extension of airbending. Mengarut betul budak ni.

:)

Itu lah update sedikit sebanyak.

1. "Tafaqqahu qabla an tusawwadu" -Umar al-Khattab r.a [Kata-kata Umar yang menunjukkan peri pentingnya ilmu sebelum dilanti
k sebagai pemimpin (at-Tasawwud bermaksud ar--Riasah) sangat jarang diulas sebagai "tuntutlah ilmu sebelum kamu berkahwin" kerana menurut az-Zabidiy dalam Taj ul-'Arul semasa mensharahkan maksud at-Tasawwud, katanya ia juga bermaksud at-Tazawwuj (berkahwin), justeru membawa maksud pelajarilah ilmu sebelum berkahwin kerana orang yang berkahwin akan disibukkan dengan urusan rumahtangganya.] - FB Marwan Bukhari

- zaadut-taqwa

Allahumma solli 'ala Muhammad.

Roger and out.

Picturesque 4 : Of Superbike and Baby Po

Of A Superbike

Kawasaki Ninja
On road, there are a few types of drivers. Along my years (only 5 years.. heh) of driving, I come to a conclusion that drivers of cool cars aren't the same with drivers of cool bikes. They aren't the same. Still, my conclusion only applies to my living area and its vicinity.

The above picture is one example of great bikes. And drivers of these kind of bikes really have set a very good example on road. Let me tell you a bit about how most of them behave on road.

Of Whys
1. During red light, bikers from 'golongan marhaen', rempit or any kind will ignore the red light, find a space, wait for a clear line and then accelerate. Especially when it is raining or on a very hot day. Most bikers will develop a kind of sharp sense knowing when the lights will turn color, the duration for each color, and few seconds of buffer between colors. If you can see at any time, you can see that they don't actually looking at the light in front of them. They will either look at the traffic light across them, or they will see reflection of colors from either signboards or poles from traffic light they can't see straight. So they can have a good guess when their light will turn green. And then, when the other light turns orange, even when their own light is still red, they will accelerate. Most of them will behave this way. BUT, for superbikers, they are different. Even when all bikes have gone ignoring the red light, you will find them still at their place. Relaxed and cool. I don't know the real reason behind this. Whether if they get a ticket it would be much more expensive than normal bike, wallahu a'lam. But, in term of obeying traffic, yes, they do set a very good example.

2. There was a time, at Youth Leadership Programe URI, I sit beside our van driver for the program. He said to me, the thing he's afraid the most on road was motorcyclists. Because of their unpredictable nature. Well, that's understandable. Often, when a motorcyclist sees a hole to slip in a tight traffic, he/she will try to slip as fast as possible. It is because their size is small, so, any hole will do. We call this 'cilok'. And often too, they forget to give signals. It's like if you draw any graph, their curve will not be very smooth and predictable. Still, a large portion of them gives signals. Same goes to superbikers. They respect the road, and they are respected.

3. Usually, when the light turns green, some motorcyclists will 'press' like heaven sampai yang terpacak-pacak. If not terpacak pun, it's like they are trying to lead and be the first of the horde that's just been released. And you know how cool are superbikers, they don't even get distracted by the other bikers. They just speed up normally, and with their own pace catching up with others. Although initially they are left out from the rest of the speeding bikers, those superbikers will end up un'chase'able by the early speeders. And the way you see how they behave from a spectator's view, so cool.

4. And the best is, they are so polite on road, yet they are so skillful. What does I mean is that they give way to people, they don't just cut people's way, during traffic jam especially, they are so skillful in 'mencelah' to the extend sometimes even when usual bikers are afraid to pass through some narrow slips between cars, they pass through it like nothing. And if they can't pass it, they will stay quiet and wait. On the contrary, some bikers even press in free gear to warn car drivers to make way for them. Some even hit the side mirrors. And most will honk 6 harakat or more.

5. And you know why they can drive so fast? One factor that I know is because of their attire. You know, when you are wearing something loose, and you ride your bike so fast, your shirt and your trousers are flapping so fast, it makes you feel cautious. But, when you wear tight driving jacket, the air doesn't make any of your parts flapping, so you kind of forget how fast you are and you just cruise along the road happily. But, it's a bit dangerous, it can be very deceiving.

Why do I say superbikers are different than expensive car drivers?

From what I've seen and experienced, most BMW and Mercedes drivers in the area of Damansara, PJ, Gombak - they really don't have any sense of giving signals. Most of them. The numbers can go up to 90 percent. Even when I'm driving car, they don't know how to give signals. I don't know why. It happens mostly to people with expensive cars. Proton, Innova, and other normal cars do give signals. But them? Entah. Perhaps I'm committing a fallacy of  generalization - but again, this situation only applies in my living area as far as I'm concerned.

If someone wants to compare drivers of great cars and bikes, I can say, they are not the same. One side have less sensitivities, less skillful, and a bit 'noob' on road (Noob in context of respecting road users), another side is more skillful, does a better job in setting example for other drivers.
Ini pun superb!
There are some things worth sharing here, so that new motorcyclists can take note.

1. If it is too windy, stop. I once drove along MRR2, where at that time, rain started to pour. Few of us motorcyclists still continued, so we sped up hoping to get past the raining cloud. So, in that cluster it was like around 100 km/h or more. Then, all of a sudden, a huge blast of wind passed. My cluster, at that time was in the middle lane, somehow was pushed to the right lane where the cars moved so fast. One of us was even almost hit a big lorry. That wind pushed us to the next lane while we were moving. It felt like your bike moved without you realizing. I never thought that wind could be so powerful. Since, I will always bend my body lower when  I'm speeding in rain in case of emergency.

2. For motorcyclists, it is dangerous if you are travelling when the road is wet and there are thunders dancing upon you. For cars, it is safe. But not for bikers. Because lightning can struck you while you are on bike. Once, when some bikers and I stopped under a fly over during a heavy downpour, a flash of lightning struck very near to us. At the same time, almost all of us under the fly-over felt the 'shock', the same feeling when you touched a leaked circuit - hot and numb. We talked about it, and we never knew that lightning have that kind of 'area-of-effect' (AOE). But then, I still suspended my conclusion, until after I watched River Monster, where in that episode, Jeremy Wade's cameraman was zapped by lightning, and he felt a little dizzy. The lightning didn't hit him directly, but the spot so near it made the cameraman went dizzy and fell. So, watch out if there any thunder festival up there. You might get stunned.

Baby Po
So, since baby Shrek, I've never found anything cuter. But, when Dragon Warrior Po came into action to search for his long-lost history, I found his 'smaller' version very intriguing and exciting. And seriously, I couldn't stand the cuteness. Let the picture tells the cuteness....So, I rank baby Po as the most cutest thing in history.

p/s 1 : There're so much reasons for people out there to continue living, why give up? :D
p/s 2 : I'm towards a healthier life. Just weeks ago, masa program, jadi Faci, seorang budak perempuan datang, 'abang akan jadi lagi hensem kalau kurus lagi skit'. *blushing* .. For that, I've been swimming 0.5 kilometers every day. So, keep motivating me! Haha.. Siapa-siapa nak ajar Butterfly Stroke boleh datang rumah.

Tuntutan Fizikal

Di atas beberapa sebab, keperluan menurunkan berat badan sangat dituntut. Iya.. BERAT badan. =.=

Alhamdulillah, badan masih sihat dan tiada penyakit. Except for yang dah lama reside within me - resdung(thanks to my beloved two cats Kitty and Kidtun - status: deceased), vertigo, and long gone diagnosed low blood pressure. Alhamdulillah. Cuma, apparently my size isn't going any smaller. And all my uncles and aunties were like "OMG Asif, kenapa macam bapak orang?"

Menerima kemungkinan jemaah-jemaah surau mungkin belum biasa. Tapi, cubalah paling kurang senyum atau berjabat tangan. Few only. Saya langsung mendekati pakcik tersebut. Uncle Ong panggil. Bertanya-tanya. Alhamdulillah. Dia seronok. Masa itu kena balik, ada program. Minta nombor HP pakcik tu. Saya macam "what the fish!!" dalam hati. Hati puas menahan nak gelak habis-habis. Sebab ingat duduk dalam surau. Kena hormat. "Umur saya baru 20 lah pakcik.. Kahwin pun tak lagi". Tersenyum lebar tahan gelak menampakkan dua gigi taring saya. Kalau boleh gigit pakcik ni dah gigit dah. Geram. Tapi tak apa lah, dia pun bau arak. Dia balas, "Wahh..u nampak memang tak tua, tapi macam sudah matang macam itu bapa orang". Again, kalau dia ni lembu memang dah kena gulai kawah dah. Sabo je la. Sebelum balik, wish all the best pada pakcik itu. Pada yang sama, berazam saiz kena KECILKAN!

It's not that I'm unhealthy. Every week I jog three to four times, every session 30 minutes or about 2.5 kilometers(Taman Metropolitan!). I also do dumbbells workout every day. I still can dive and swim healthily. Makan malam pun dah kurang. Ala kadar. Air manis pun tak minum. Pagi sahaja beli teh ais. Or it is not sufficient? What is wrong?

Sekarang ini pun saya buka kelas private taekwondo ajar adik-adik. Every Sunday. For sure banyak bakar kalori. Oh..Please help me find more ways! :D

Lifestyle.

Terima kasih. Bercita-cita nak mengecilkan saiz badan menjadi saiz normal plus healthier. Pernah tengok Ironman tak? Bukan cerita Ironman. Ini pertanding Ironman Kona Championship. I follow this every year since they started few years back. This year akan start October. Di Hawai. Mereka berlumba - berenang for 2.6 miles, kemudian bike 112 miles, kemudian running for 26.2 miles straight. Badan manusia sangat mengagumkan. I do not know if it is appropriate for a Muslim to participate, but if it is appropriate, I wish to finish this race one day. Maybe 10 years from now.

*Towards a healthier lifestyle! :)
